DAVIDSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man is behind bars after allegedly leading troopers on a 20+ mile chase from Nashville to Dickson County early Saturday.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the chase began when a trooper spotted a driver—later identified as Jose Margarito Mendez-Tranquilino—swerving on a Nashville road.
The trooper attempted to pull Mendez-Tranquilino over, but he kept driving at speeds of up to 107 mph according to arrest documents.
THP officials state that during the pursuit, Mendez-Tranquilino knocked down a sign post at Exit 172 on Interstate 40 West and nearly struck multiple other vehicles…
