CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — The city of Clarksville has issued at least 40 stop-work notices to the home building company Lennar, ordering the company to stop construction across its communities.
The city said it issued the notices on every active permit Lennar currently has in Clarksville. The city said its Building and Codes Department issued the notices to get Lennar to “realign their workflow” with Clarksville’s inspection process requirements.
