A Hopkinsville man was arrested Sunday after police said he assaulted a woman while taking her cellphones and was later found inside a Pardue Lane home.
Hopkinsville Police say officers were called to the area of Fairview Drive and South Virginia Street, where a woman reported Jahmarius Brown had taken her phones earlier that morning at a home on Pardue Lane. Police say Brown was seen walking toward Pardue Lane and was later located inside a home, where he allegedly threw the phones outside and initially refused to come out.
After a K-9 deputy arrived, police made announcements at the home, and Brown came outside and was taken into custody…
