A reported fight involving a large group of middle school aged children near a main street in Clarksville, Tennessee, has raised concerns among residents about student safety, supervision and the need for greater community involvement.
A post shared in the Clarksville Chat Facebook group described a disturbing scene witnessed by a local resident returning home from work. According to the post, the resident heard yelling and saw approximately 13 children who appeared to be middle school students involved in a physical fight.
The person who shared the account said several children were on the ground while others were allegedly kicking and pulling hair. Police were called to the scene as the situation continued.
