Local law enforcement got to have a little fun with the community on Saturday, as they played kickball alongside local children and the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library.
It was the Christian County Sheriff’s Department and the Hopkinsville Police Department in competition, along with some fierce young competitors from the community. The picture of good sportsmanship, Hopkinsville police get to hold on to the trophy for another year, emerging from the fray as back-to-back champions.
It’s all in the name of good fun and developing relationships with the community, especially the young folks who call Christian County home. Sheriff Tyler DeArmond says, “We had so much fun playing kickball and getting to see the local children and athletes having a great time. It truly is an honor to be able to take part in this event every year.”…
