CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — An East Tennessee couple lost a large sum of money in Cheatham County last week, but thanks to good detective work and some clear surveillance video, law enforcement arrested the suspect and returned every last cent to the rightful owners.
Around 10:45 a.m. on Sept. 21, a husband and wife went into a Joelton convenience store with their 11-year-old son, having just completed some contracting work for a friend whose child has medical issues.
The couple said their friend paid them for the work with cash rather than through an app. As a result, the pair had $5,100 in a bank envelope tucked into a large wallet…
