CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Dr. Bridget Y. Childs has announced her candidacy for the Ward 9 seat on the Clarksville City Council. Childs has been a resident of Clarksville for over 20 years. She is a mother, retired veteran of the 101st Airborne Division and public service volunteer. She was appointed as the Ethics Committee chair in June 2021 and resigned in August 2024 to pursue election as a member of the City Council.
