Families without answers on missing loved ones push bill to fund TBI cold case unit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Families of missing people in Tennessee are calling on lawmakers to take action and devote more resources to solving cold cases that, in some instances, have gone unsolved for decades.

After 22 years, Casey Robinson’s sister, Jennifer Wix, and her 2-year-old daughter, Adrianna, are still missing from Robertson County. The pair disappeared in 2004 from the home of Jennifer’s estranged boyfriend and his parents.

That case helped launch Robinson’s push for more resources and more investigators dedicated to cold cases in Tennessee, as some investigations can sit for decades due to a lack of staffing or funding…
