Thousands without power after storms knock down trees, lines in Robertson County

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — Thousands of people are without power after overnight storms brought down trees and power lines across parts of Middle Tennessee.

Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation reported about 3,000 outages early Tuesday across its five-county service area.

The largest outage is in the Greenbrier and Springfield area, where a tree fell onto a pole, cutting power to about 1,600 customers…
