NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) — A driver crashed through the wall of a government building in Pasco County on Tuesday, leaving a passenger in the car with minor injuries.
The driver, a 63-year-old New Port Richey woman, was trying to turn into a parking spot at the Social Security Administration off Little Road when she accidentally hit the gas and crashed into the building, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. Photos showed the front end of the woman’s Kia sitting inside the building. A smashed window frame also appeared to have toppled over, landing on top of the vehicle’s windshield.
Troopers said the driver was uninjured, but a passenger in her car, a 43-year-old Holiday woman, was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries…
