July is half over, but discount grocery chain Aldi will still manage to open three more stores for Florida shoppers before it’s over.
The new locations coming to Key Largo, Monticello, and New Port Richey will bring the state total to 334 Aldi stores in more than 180 cities, according to its Florida list, more than any other state in the nation. The German-owned chain has already opened more than 100 locations in the Sunshine State since the beginning of 2025, most of them converted Winn-Dixie stores from a brief acquisition of its parent company.
Aldi plans to open more than 180 new stores nationwide in 2026 on its way to operating 3,200 stores across the U.S. by the end of 2028. More stores to come are in progress around Florida…
