Low pressure swirl near Florida has low chance of developing

Two areas are being watched for potential development in the Tropical Atlantic. One is in the eastern Gulf near Florida.

An upper-level low-pressure system west of Tampa has a low chance of becoming a tropical depression as it slowly drifts northwest over the Gulf through the weekend. Its chances of developing in the next seven days currently sit at 30%.
