PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Pinellas County deputy can now call himself a gator wrangler after he successfully captured his first one earlier this month.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office shared a video Wednesday of the deputy responding to a gator call on July 8.
Body camera video showed the deputy use a board to trap the gator in a corner. He then used a leash and some tape to safely move the gator away from the home it was visiting.
