LARGO, Fla. — The City of Largo will host a community town hall next week to show residents where their property tax dollars go and address questions about local government funding.
The event, titled “Community Town Hall: How Property Taxes Fund City Services,” is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at Horizon West Bay, located at 440 West Bay Drive.
The evening will feature an informational presentation detailing how property tax revenue supports municipal operations, what lower revenue would mean for local service levels, and how policy choices affect residents directly. A moderated panel discussion and question-and-answer session will follow…
