CLEARWATER, Fla. — Water main construction in Clearwater is causing additional road closures along Drew Street this week.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, the existing closure on the right westbound lane of Drew Street will stretch further west, reaching North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. City officials stated the expansion is necessary as utility crews continue installing pipes through the busy corridor.
Drivers can still cross Drew Street at North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Betty Lane, and North Washington Avenue. However, every other intersection along that stretch—between Betty Lane and MLK Jr. Avenue—is shut down…
