ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 65-year-old Pinellas Park motorcyclist died early Sunday morning following a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and 4th Street North, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
The collision happened around 1:10 a.m. on September 27. Police reported that the man was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle south on 4th Street North. At the same time, a dark-colored Mercedes SUV heading north on 4th Street turned west onto 9th Avenue North, cutting directly in front of the motorcycle and causing the crash.
