We didn’t need an excuse for a day in Dunedin, but we’ll take it all the same. This weekend, the city welcomes back the Dunedin Seafood and Music Festival, a sprawling celebration of food, music, and beautiful fall weather.
Dubbed the Stone Crab Party, festivities take place this Saturday, October 17, from 12-9 pm, in and around Dunedin Marina and Edgewater Park along the downtown waterfront. The festival is completely free to attend and open to all ages, with free parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The food portion of the festival is heavy on stone crab, but seafood of all varieties is available. Local favorites such Olde Bay Cafe, Hog Island Fish Camp, Crabby Bills and half a dozen more will be on hand dishing up their best stuff. There will also be plenty of local craft beer, cocktails, wine, and NA beverages available for purchase. Add in live music from start to finish, with a side of waterfront views, and it’s the recipe for a perfect day in Dunedin…
