TAMPA, Fla. – Deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a deadly shooting that took place Tuesday afternoon in Tampa. The incident, which is being treated as a homicide, occurred in the 5800 block of North 53rd Street.
The agency’s 911 Dispatch Center first received reports of shots fired at 1:57 p.m. on April 21, 2026. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies located an adult male in the parking lot of a local business park. The man had sustained gunshot wounds and was deceased when authorities arrived.
