A 20-year-old Clearwater man was seriously injured after he lost control of his SUV on U.S. 19 and was ejected when the vehicle overturned, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The man was driving a GMC Yukon southbound at a high rate of speed around 6:30 p.m. April 14 when he lost control south of Republic Drive, troopers said. The SUV overturned and the driver was thrown from the vehicle.
