CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — Patrick Scruggs, a former assistant United States attorney, took a plea deal in a Pinellas County courtroom Monday to a commuted sentence of 90 days in jail, 5 years probation, and $100,000 in restitution to the victim.
