PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County drivers are looking at a busy week on the roads as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) kicks off a fresh round of maintenance and construction projects starting Sunday, May 10.
The District 7 schedule, which runs through May 16, spans nearly every major artery in the county, ranging from overnight bridge work on the Skyway to around-the-clock closures on Curlew and Gulf to Bay.
The I-275 corridor will see significant activity, starting with the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Maintenance crews have scheduled nightly lane closures from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. throughout the entire week.
