Michelin-recommended Cousin Vinny’s plans St. Pete expansion

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa’s Cousin Vinny’s Sandwich Company, a Michelin-recommended restaurant, is planning to expand its operations to St. Petersburg.

The restaurant’s co-founder confirmed on Wednesday that they are planning to open another location on St. Petersburg’s Central Avenue.

“We’re excited to bring Cousin Vinny’s Sandwich Co. to St. Pete and become part of the Grand Central District community,” co-founder AJ DeSimone said. “The support we’ve received in Tampa has been incredible, and this felt like the natural next step for the brand. Our focus remains the same, delivering a high-quality, authentic experience built around great food, hospitality, and creating a place people genuinely enjoy coming back to.”

A grand opening date has not been announced yet.
