TAMPA, Fla. (CBS12) — Florida authorities have dismantled a massive organized retail crime ring, recovering over $5 million in stolen goods and uncovering a sophisticated operation that funneled over $12 million in illicit profits across multiple states, resulting in 14 arrests.
“This is the largest operation of its kind I’ve encountered in my career,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said.
