Buttermilk Eatery will open its third site at 2601 Central Ave. in the Grand Central District this summer. The space was left vacant by Urban Brew & BBQ. Inside, there’s 1,400 square feet. Outside, a covered patio sprawls across 3,000 square feet.
Robot food runners will deliver meals to guests. Traditional table service is still available. Customers can order from phones by scanning a QR code at each table.
“There’s no lack of service,” one of the owners said to St. Pete Rising. “The restaurant is fully staffed, but the robot assistance gives our employees more time to focus on customers and provide better attention.”…
