CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland Catholic Bishop Edward C. Malesic visited Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital on Tuesday as part of the hospital’s Mission Day celebration, recognizing the legacy and faith-based history of the Marymount Intergenerational Campus.
The campus, sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, provides ministry and care to people of all ages in the community.
Malesic began the day greeting hospital caregivers and viewing displays of employee work tied to this year’s Mission Day theme, “Sacred Work in Everyday Moments.” He later celebrated Mass in the hospital chapel, visited several patients and caregivers on a patient floor, and delivered a luncheon address on “The Gift of Catholic Healthcare in a Changing World.”…
