PEPPER PIKE, Ohio (WJW) – Just weeks before the start of the new school year, one Northeast Ohio private school has announced it is shutting its doors for good.
The Lillian and Betty Ratner Montessori School in Pepper Pike confirmed Thursday that it will permanently close on August 15.
In a letter to parents obtained by FOX 8 News, the school’s board of trustees pointed to declining enrollment, rising operating costs and uncertain government support as factors that ultimately led to the closure.
