Strongsville Costco murder case heads back to court

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Attorneys are set to go back before a judge on Thursday morning in the murder case against Christian M. Bryant, a 23-year-old Texas man accused of shooting and killing a 61-year-old employee of the StrongsvilleCostco in April.

The latest filings in the case indicate Bryant’s attorney opted to push back a previous May 20 pretrial date to Thursday, June 4, in order to “do further investigation.”

A Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted Bryant in May on two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault. He’s accused of shooting and killing 61-year-old Randy Corrigan, who had reportedly tried to stop Bryant from entering the store carrying a handgun with an extended magazine.
