Akron Children’s completes $8M Notre Dame College deal

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Akron Children’s Hospital has officially completed its $8 million purchase of the former Notre Dame College property, opening the way to formal planning discussions between the health system and the city of South Euclid, the city announced Monday.

Akron Children’s also is in discussions with Yeshiva Derech Hatorah, a private Jewish day school, regarding the possible purchase of a land parcel formerly occupied by Regina High School. The South Euclid school closed in 2010 due to financial difficulties and low enrollment.
