Gunfire Erupts At Maple Heights McDonald’s, Man Hit As Cars Riddled With Bullets

Gunshots shattered the early evening routine at the McDonald’s on Northfield Road in Maple Heights yesterday, leaving one man wounded and two parked cars punched through with bullets as people scrambled to get away.

Police said the shooting broke out in the parking lot of the McDonald’s at 5114 Northfield Road, where callers told dispatchers they heard roughly 10 shots as people ran from the scene. Officers flooded the area and began talking with shaken witnesses while securing the lot.
