The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the death of a 30-year-old woman who died at the Lorain County Jail recently.
Melissa Boylan, of Lyndhurst, was found deceased in a portable bed in a pod with other female inmates at approximately 7 a.m. on June 28, according to Major Steve Scharschmidt.
