WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — A rare Japanese tin space toy led the bidding as Milestone Auctions’ first sale of antique toys from collector David Leitner’s collection brought strong interest from buyers around the world.
The May 30 auction featured nearly 650 toys amassed by Leitner over five decades, including European windup toys, Japanese robots and space toys, and vintage toy motorcycles.
