WESTLAKE, Ohio (WOIO) – A woman was transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation after motorists reported seeing her waving around a rifle or “machine gun” while pacing around the sidewalk on Bradley Road Thursday afternoon.
Police said they received two separate calls around 5:15 p.m. from passersby’s about the woman who was in the area of Bradley and Mallard Cove.
The callers were alarmed because she was seen pointing the rifle at passing cars. Officers responded quickly but could not locate her.
