CLEVELAND (WJW) — More laid-off Cleveland teachers are being called back to the classroom just weeks before the start of the school year.
The FOX 8 I-Team learned up to 12 additional teachers will be recalled, following last week’s announcement that dozens of educators would return to work.
The Cleveland Teachers Union said that with the latest recalls, about three-quarters of the 140 teachers initially laid off will be back in classrooms. Union officials said 105 teachers are now expected to be recalled…
