CLEVELAND, Ohio — Winter is still several months away, but the Farmers’ Almanac is ready to talk about snow and cold weather.
The publication’s newly released 2026-27 winter weather forecast places Ohio in a zone labeled “cold, snowy periods,” offering an early glimpse at what could await Northeast Ohio once temperatures begin to tumble.
That does not necessarily mean an unrelentingly cold or snowy season, though. Temperatures across the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley are expected to average near normal overall, with milder breaks frequently interrupting the wintry weather…
