CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – MetroHealth has opened a 24/7, 365-day drive-thru pharmacy on its main campus as new state data shows hundreds of Ohio pharmacies have closed in recent years.
State data shows 224 pharmacies closed across Ohio in 2024, including 25 in Cuyahoga County.
Filling a gap in access
Chief Pharmacy Officer Ryan Mezinger said the closures are limiting patient access to prescriptions.
