CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland’s new downtown weekly farmers market begins on Tuesday.
The city of Cleveland announced last month that it will partner with North Union Farmers to launch the market.
The market will be at Mall B.
It will take place every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through October 6.
According to the release, the market will expand access to fresh, locally grown food in downtown Cleveland while creating a welcoming weekly destination for residents, employees, visitors, and families, featuring local farmers, food producers and small businesses.
The market will also feature rotating activities throughout the six-week season, including:
- Live music
- Chef demonstrations
- Community resources and activities
The Downtown Cleveland Farmers Market will accept the following:
- WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits
- Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits
- Family Fruit & Vegetable Coupon Program
Designated free parking for market shoppers will be available in the Willard Parking Lot and on East Mall Drive…
