Gregory Moore’s attorneys want prosecutor removed, prosecutor wants hearing: I-Team

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Defense attorneys for Gregory Moore are asking a judge to remove the lead prosecutor from the case for what they call “ethical and constitutional violations” but prosecutors are denying any wrongdoing and are demanding a hearing.

Moore is accused of killing Aliza Sherman in March 2013. He was indicted in May of 2025. He has entered not guilty pleas to all charges.

His attorneys, Jon Paul Rion and Christopher Bucio, filed motions asking to have Kevin Filiatraut, the lead prosecutor on the case, removed…
