CLEVELAND (WJW) — A woman was rescued early Thursday after a Cleveland Metroparks police officer found her injured in the water at Mill Creek Falls Overlook.
The incident was reported around 12:15 a.m. Thursday in Cleveland.

According to officials, the woman was found in about a foot of water. The woman was injured and unable to get out of the creek on her own.
Cleveland firefighters responded and began a rope rescue operation from the Warner Road bridge.
Firefighters spent about 1 hour and 45 minutes working to get the woman out of the creek. Crews used ropes secured to the bridge and a rescue basket to reach and remove her from Mill Creek.
