More than 58,000 without power in Northeast Ohio as severe weather hits

NORTHEAST OHIO, Ohio (WOIO) – More than 10,000 in Northeast Ohio are without power as severe weather hits the area Thursday.

FirstEnergy reports more than 58,000 in Northeast Ohio are without power.

As of 7:36 p.m., FirstEnergy reports 58,189 are without power, and the following counties have the most outages:

  • Ashland: 356
  • Ashtabula: 792
  • Cuyahoga: 12,713
  • Geauga: 2,285
  • Lake: 8,989
  • Lorain: 1,165
  • Medina: 1,352
  • Portage: 5,777
  • Stark: 907
  • Summit: 6,701
  • Wayne: 102
