I-Team: CLE snow plow driver threatened with gun

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The FOX 8 I-Team has found a city of Cleveland plow truck driver became a target of a man showing a gun in a fit of road rage.

We often hear from people mad about not seeing a city plow. But this time, the opposite led to a tense moment in the street.

The city said a plow driver blew his horn at a vehicle blocking the street on Sunday.

The other driver then got out and raised his jacket, showing he had a gun.

He then took off as the plow driver started to call it in to headquarters.

The public works director told us city work crews have encounters in the streets with angry people more often than you might think.

“I don’t know if you have enough time on the news for me to talk about instances that I would have preferred not have happened throughout Public Works. Unfortunately, incidents happen on a regular basis,” Frank Williams said.
