2 people taken to hospital in crash involving RTA bus, car

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Authorities are investigating after a car and an RTA bus collided on Cleveland’s west side Saturday afternoon.

The crash took place near the intersection of Fulton Road and Clark Avenue around 4:30 p.m.

RTA Transit police and Cleveland EMS were called to the scene, with two people taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, according to a Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) spokesperson.

The people’s conditions were not reported, nor was it confirmed which vehicle they were riding in.

It is not yet clear what led to the crash and no charges have been reported at this time.
