One person died following a house fire in Parma on Friday morning, according to the city’s fire department, WKYC, cleveland.com’s news partner, reports.
Crews responded to 1740 Lourdes Drive around 11:45 a.m. after a neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from a second-floor window, according to WKYC. When firefighters arrived, they could hear the alarms from smoke detectors inside the home. Additional 911 calls indicated someone might be trapped inside, according to reports.
