Teen indicted for allegedly shooting Uber driver in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW) — An 18-year-old Garfield Heights man has been indicted on multiple charges following the assault of a rideshare driver earlier this month, according to Cuyahoga County court documents.

Deandre Griggs is accused of shooting 41-year-old driver Sheldon Scott and leaving him for dead.

  • Attempted murder
  • 2 counts of Felonious Assault
  • 2 counts of Aggravated Robbery
  • Robbery
