North Olmsted police investigate break-in, tool theft at former restaurant

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio – Two officers responded at about 8:30 a.m. on April 27 to the former Macaroni Grill restaurant on Country Club Boulevard in reference to a breaking and entering.

The caller, involved in renovating the building, said he arrived at the site to find that a chain had been cut and copper on the south side of the building was missing. The back door was ajar. The caller’s tool kit, which contained numerous cordless tools, was missing, along with a battery charging tower, backflow valves, copper press fittings and nail guns.

In total, more than $11,000 in equipment and fittings were missing, according to a police report…
