(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A second location for the unique “Big Lebowski”-themed bar and restaurant Lebowski’s Taproom has officially opened on the east side of Colorado Springs.
The flagship location of Lebowski’s Taproom, on Centennial Boulevard near Fillmore Street, opened in 2023. The taproom offers a selection of beer on tap, as well as its own signature coffee liqueur, which is used in the White Russian cocktails so prominently featured in the movie and on the taproom’s menu.

The new location, at 9633 Prominent Point, features a larger seating area than the flagship location, which the restaurant said would allow for expanded seating and more space for events.
“This is something we’ve been working toward for a while,” said owner Monica Kowalski when the new location was announced. “We’ve been incredibly fortunate with the response to Lebowski’s, and it became clear that there is a need for our concept on the east side of Colorado Springs. This new location allows us to take everything people love about Lebowski’s and expand it in a meaningful way.”
The new location, Lebowski’s Taproom East Side, held a soft opening on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25. The taproom said hours would be limited, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., for a few days while the staff gets fully trained…
