COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A prolific offender was arrested after police said she barricaded herself in a friend’s apartment Tuesday afternoon.
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said officers responded to an apartment on West Colorado Avenue to assist bail bondsmen who identified a prolific offender who they said was wanted on six felony warrants out of El Paso and Teller counties for motor vehicle theft, eluding and obstructing a peace officer.
Upon trying to make contact with the woman, CSPD said she barricaded herself inside a friend’s apartment. One officer left to get a search warrant while tactical teams and K9 Zev and his officer arrived…
