(SOUTHERN COLORADO) – – Thursday brings a much quieter weather pattern across Southern Colorado, with fewer showers and thunderstorms expected area-wide as a drying and warming trend begins to settle in.
The day will start with a few lingering showers and areas of low clouds around the Pikes Peak region early this morning. Those conditions should improve by mid-morning, leading to better weather for outdoor plans and the Air Force Academy graduation activities heading into the late morning and around noon.
By the afternoon and evening, the best chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms will stay focused mainly over the mountains. A few of those storms could drift east toward the Interstate 25 corridor later in the afternoon and evening.
