(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (CMZoo) shared some exciting news on Friday, June 5. One of its skunks, Isabel, recently had six kits who will soon be exploring their home in The Loft.
CMZoo said the babies were born on May 9 and have since been busy nursing, sleeping, and curiously nuzzling one another. Isabel and her kits appear to be doing well.
If you would like to meet CMZoo’s adorable skunks up close, the zoo is celebrating National Skunk Day on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, with a cute skunk meet-and-greet.
