VIDEO: Impromptu wedding rain dance breaks out during Switchbacks delay

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Evening showers delayed the Switchbacks game by almost three hours on Saturday, June 6, but a wedding party found a silver lining in the storm by starting an impromptu raindance across the street from the soccer stadium, and one sports fan caught the celebration on camera.

Shara Kohl told FOX21 News that she and her family were at the Switchbacks vs. Locomotives game on Saturday and were waiting under the stadium for the weather to clear up and the game to begin, when they saw a wedding party come out of the Meanwhile Block event center and begin dancing in the downpour. Kohl immediately got her phone out and began recording, and she shared the video with FOX21 News.

According to Kohl, wedding guests were the first to start splashing to the music, but soon the bride and groom joined the puddle party, leading soccer fans to cheer them on…
