(COLORADO SPRINGS) — An appeal process has begun to challenge Project Taurus, a proposed data center by Raeden on Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs. The city’s database officially opened a record for the appeal, though it has not yet been formally submitted.
If approved, the appeal could halt the plans for the data center.
The appeal aims to stop Project Taurus from moving forward, despite the Planning Department granting approval last Thursday to Raeden, the company behind the facility. Those who live by the proposed center, like Kate Kent, said some of the community is still holding out hope that the city will do the right thing, or that the developer will agree to sign binding protective conditions designed to protect the local neighborhoods and environment and make a livable situation here.”…
